So September already, where did the summer go, I really don't know...
Well I'm hoping we can find some time to get together this month to do some letters! We can go for some more brewery nights or back to the coffee shops. Whatever people want to do.
As per usual:
The Sundays are 9, 16, 23 and 30
The Wednesdays are 5 (tomorrow), 12, 19 and 26
So if you want to do one of those days (or a different one) hit that group reply and we will see what we can make happen.
The guild meeting is on Saturday, September 15 starting at 12:30. At Plymouth Congregational Church.
Sally Wightkin will be teaching some fun letter cutting and I am looking forward to that.
Lets see where September takes us.
Wow, July just flew by…
We went to 612 Brew, Sociable Cider Werks, Bauhaus Brew Labs and a new coffee shop, Five Watt. We also went and did the Greenway Glow. So it was a pretty awesome month. The breweries have all been great places to hang out at and it’s been a lot of fun.
The Greenway Glow was pretty incredible. I have never been to one before and it was a lot of fun to see all the stuff people come up with for it. I think the band bike thing was my favorite. Getting to hang out and do some calligraphy with a bunch of random people (and all my amazing guildies) is something I am a big fan of. There was a little burst of rain at the very beginning (luckily we were under a bridge) but after that it was a pretty nice night. We got to play with chalk, we had our document camera and were projecting nice and big on the wall and we got to help a bunch of people try out some calligraphy. I really hope we get to see some of them again. We're doing the Glow again next year right? :) Ohh plus we have our own table now so I guess we could just kinda do whatever we want, hmmm.
Down to business, same game as every month.
The Sundays are: 5, 12, 19 and 26.
The Wednesdays are 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29
We have a lot of breweries left to visit on our tour. If we are going to keep hanging out in NE we have Indeed, Fair State, Fulton... Insight is down the road from Up Coffee or we can go somewhere else. Over to St. Paul somewhere maybe?
If you have a day/place you are interested in throw it out there are we will see what happens.
I hope everyone has a great August.
